All six TII sensors continue to deliver ion energy/angle-of-arrival spectra and cross-track ion drift on a daily basis. Swarm A and Swarm B operate for eight TII science orbits per day, the remaining orbits used to maintain imaging performance. Swarm C operates for two TII science orbits per day.

Faceplate voltages are set to -1 V for TII science and daily maintenance orbits. Swarm C currently sets the faceplate voltage to -3.5 V during Swarm A’s eight TII science orbits. This setting is intended to favour ion current measurements.
